As the world continues to tilt, the power of recall is shifting something in me. It’s as if God’s work wedges deeper into my soul in the process of recalling it to mind.
I remember the faithfulness I forgot in that flash-second of scanning the news. I remember how He’s provided for me, after I spent stretches of time fearing He wouldn’t. I remember how near He is in the mess — the lilt of His voice in His Word that I hear most clearly when my life tilts.
