Middle Minutes Adoration

(Pause and re-read that. I have several times.)⁣

The success of my day doesn’t depend on how my children behave, how much I get done, how available I am to my friends, how well I’ve written … or spoken … or performed. ⁣

The success of my day depends on my connectedness to the Father. Have I let Him hold me? How counterintuitive: when my racing heartbeat tells me I’m behind and I’ve missed “it” somehow, the best thing I can do is to let myself be held. (This is profound life-success … a woman or man who knows the safe arms of God and finds themself there, often.)
