My morning window reveals Your glory. My heart may weigh heavy from the day’s events ahead, or last night’s conversations, but I have invitation from the moment my eyes crack open, to see You.
Always inviting, always revealing, God can You really be this good?
Handiwork breaking through my dull moments. Every moment is an opportunity for worship. Every moment inviting adoration. Every moment I can be changed by Your glory against my flesh.
I adore You, oh God who offers Your speech in my day and Your knowledge in my night. Holy intersects mundanity. I can always be lifted up, and out, of all that is me into all that is You. I can exchange my self-consumed, ever-heading-downward thoughts for Your beauty. At any time. Day and night. Night and day.
I set myself to find points of declaration and then realize I don’t have to look far. You are the always available God. Magnificent beauty on my doorstep, even this stay-at-home mom can taste of the most exquisite of fare in the midst of life’s routine.
You are King and I’ve been invited into Your courts. All day, every day. You are all-around-me majesty.
I worship You God of the heavens, holy King of life’s expanse.
